When we got to the Plitvitsa Lakes, we checked into our apartment, rested for a bit, then walked to the Plitvitsa Lakes, which was 15 minutes away.
The Plitvitsa Lakes is series of 16 beautiful emerald green/turquoise blue interconnected lakes surrounded by woodland. It looked very similar to NZ.

Look at this amazing pic that we took. Which way is which?
Some of the plants in the woodland looked like native NZ plants.
Once we got our tickets, we walked the upper and lower lakes. The water was so clear you could see the fish swimming inside it.

Once we walked the upper lakes, we took a boat and walked to the Veliki Slap, the biggest waterfall in Croatia.
