The Old City was amazing! It was a magnificent city surrounded by a huge concrete wall. The architecture of the buildings is truly spectacular, and it looks very old and historical. The streets are swarming with tourists and locals. There is one main street called Stradun, where we are staying.

Many little alleyways streets are connected to it, with numerous shops and restaurants tucked away. There is also a little port where you could take boat tours and a small pier where you jump off the rocks. There were a vast number of restaurants, shops, markets and a couple of bell towers which rang every hour. The weather is scorching hot, and it's not even summer.
On the main street

After we settled into our apartment, we looked around the city a bit, then we decided to Walk the City Walls, where you walk around the whole colossal wall. The views of theOld City and the Adriatic Sea were really specular. You could see all of the houses and shops with there orange roofs tiles. We did it at a very good time, at 5pm, when the sun was beginning to settle, and it wasn't so hot. There were so many stairs! By the end of it our legs were sore and we were very hungry.

Sajan and a cannon

The dock with it's many boats
When we finished our walk, We went out for dinner at a restaurant called Polkisar. It was by the port, so most of the menu was seafood. We had dinner outside with many other people. We were very hungry, so we ordered heaps and by the end of it we were as full as bulls.

Yummy food....
