were glad to get off that train! When we arrived, we took a water bus to our hotel.

It took ages for us to find our hotel, because we got lost, which was annoying. But on the way we stopped to gawk at a giant pizza.
It's real!
We checked into our fancy hotel, got cleaned up, and then we went out and explored.

Swarming with tourists
We also went to see ST Marks Square and saw the cathedral and the bell tower. But we didn't get to go inside the cathedral, but Sajan hung out with the pigeons.
For dinner we had spaghetti, lasagna and risotto. Then we went back to the hotel.
