Today we left Cinque Terre, and caught three trains to Nice in France!!!!! We left Riomaggiore at 10:30, and it took six hours to get to Nice. At 4:30 pm, we arrived in Nice. It was gray and cloudy, and it looked as if it was about to rain. We hauled our suitcases all the way from the train station to our hotel. After settling in, we went for a little wander down to the Promenade. The Promenade is a very long and popular street down by the pebbled waterfront in Nice. The street is lined with palm trees, hotels and casinos. Since the weather was a bit dreary, the Promenade didn't look as attractive. When we were going back to the hotel, it started pouring with rain. Since we still hadn't had dinner, we took shelter at Mc D's, and had our dinner there.
