Hello Sorrento - Monday 10th October

Today we left Venice and caught a high speed train to Sorrento via Rome and Naples. The train ride to Rome was awesome, because it was a high speed train and it didn't feel like it was 3.5 hours. An eight year old girl from Canada who was sitting in front of us passed a note to me and asked me to be her friend. So I had someone to talk to on the train....which is good in a way.









When we arrived in Rome, we had to change trains and catch a train to Naples. When we got to Naples, we had to catch ANOTHER train to Sorrento, which was frustrating, because it was the local train, and it was exactly like the tube in London- stuffy and crowded. It took and hour and 10 minutes. WAH.




When we finally got to Sorrento in the afternoon, we checked into our hotel and rested. Then we went out for dinner at a restaurant by the main street. It was a tiring day.
