Capri - Tuesday 11th October

Today we went to the Island of Capri. In the morning we caught a ferry with lots of other tourists to Capri which took 20 mins. We arrived in Marina Grande where we caught the funicular (Cable car) to the town of Capri. In the town there was a
huge number of tourists and locals walking around the narrow streets. It was really annoying.














Lemons....lemons...lemons....

We walked down some of the streets then we caught a bus to Ana Capri. We went for a wander down some of the streets. We couldn't go in the Blue grotto because of the choppiness of the waves even though the weather was really hot. We caught a bus back to Capri were we caught the cable car (funicular) back down to Marina Grande.


















At Marina Grande we got some ice cream which we thought would be one scoop but turned out to be three scoops. So we got charged €6.50 each. RIP OFF :(





When we finished our Ice cream we realized that our boat was about to leave, so we sprinted right past our ferry thinking that the one we wanted to catch was not our boat. We had to turn around and sprint back to the ferry for Sorrento, phew we made it in the nick of time.
