Goodbye Croatia - Friday 7th October

Today we left Croatia to take an overnight train to Venice. But before that, we went to the Plitvitsa Lakes again, because we got a 2day pass.




At the Villa Lika, where we stayed in Plitvitsa Jezzera.

Later that day, we drove to Zagreb (capital of Croatia), which took 2 hours. After we dropped the car off at Hertz Zagreb, we took a taxi to the train station, where we were supposed to take the overnight train to Venice at 11:50 pm. Unfortunately, it was delayed 2 hours, so we didn't end up leaving until 1:30 am. Sajan and I were so tired, we fell asleep at the train station.




When the train finally arrived, we tiredly made our way to our sleeper cabins which luckily had bunk beds, and we fell asleep. Mum said it felt like trying to sleep during an earthquake and turbulence. We did not sleep very well that night.
