Day Off - Friday 30th September

Well today was our relaxing day (Mark had gone to work and Setal ben was looking after Gyan as it was her day off)

We had some breakfast then we played with a very happy Gyan who woke up at 5am. After a couple of hours Alisha, Setalben, Gyan and I decided to go to the park. So we walked to the park had a little play and then decided to go to Kids mania. So we walked back to Setalben's house and hopped in the car and drove to Kids mania. It was just like Junglerama.

At 5pm mum and dad left to go have a drink with all their relatives and friends in London. When Gyan was in bed, Alisha, Setalben, Mark and I watched Diary of a wimpy kid 2, and had Pizza for dinner. Setalben went to sleep and Mark, Alisha and I stayed up and watched Rio. We went to bed after the movie had finished.

Back to London - Sunday 26th September

Today we left Leicester and took the train back to London. After we said our goodbyes to Champa Foi and Natu Fua, we trained back to St Pancras station.

Arriving at St Pancras train station

We had some lunch from Marks and Spencer-YUMMO!

Mums new car..... Not!

Then we took the tube back to Finchley Road, where Mum and I went off to find Primark (which sells really cheap clothes). Dad and Sajan went back home to Willesden Green. Unfortunately, Mum and I stopped off at the wrong place. Primark was not in Finchely Road, but in Kilburn. So Mum and I trained to Kilburn and took a ten minute hike to Primark.

In the evening, Beat Masi and Kiran Masa's flatmate Naran Kaka took us out to dinner to a Thai Restraunt called the Spicy Basil, which was yummy!

At the bus stop in Willesden Green...

The guy on your left in the brown jacket was really loud. He complained about his chicken dish and used all the swear words under the sky to the lady he was eating with. (who had a weird, high pitched laugh)

Leicester - Saturday 24th September

Today we went visiting to all our relatives and friends in Leicester. First we went to Ashvin mama's mums house in Haddon St. Then we went to Manjula Mami's house but she wasn't home so we went to Makan Aja's house. We went back to Champa foi's house to have lunch after that.

In the afternoon, Manjula Mami came to visit us. Then we went to Melton Road, which has lots of sari shops and Indian food shops. It reminded us of Navsari, because it was very busy, full of Indian people. After we went sari shopping, we went to a restaurant called Bobbys. I got a Masala Dosa and it was yummy!!!

On our way home, we went to see Chiman Kaka, and his new baby Deep. At the end of the day, we felt exhausted so Sajan and I went to bed early.

Leicester- Friday 23rd September

In the morning, we went to Lilywhites by Piccadilly Circus, a six leveled sports store. It was humungous, with a big variety of sportswear and equipment. Sajan got a boys All Blacks playing top for £35, which is cheaper than in New Zealand - bargain!!! Thanks for the pounds family!!! We left the shop with a bulging shopping bag (mostly for Sajan).

In the afternoon, we missed our 3:15 train to Leicester, but luckily there was another one at 3:55 pm. We arrived in Leicester at 5pm, where we were picked up by Natu Fua, who took us to Champa Fois house (Dads first cousin). After we settled in, we walked down to Manju Fois house (Champa Fois sister) to Visit. All the houses in Leicester were made of bricks, and it reminded us of Coronation street. There are lots of Indian, Muslim and Sikhs living there. It is very multicultural.

London so much more to see... Thursday 22nd September

Well, today was our third day in London, and we decided to go to the Camden Markets (the home town of Amy Winehouse). So after a sleepy morning, we got dressed and caught the tube to Camden Town. Camden Markets was really busy. There were lots of stalls and shops, which sold clothes, shoes, souvenirs, jewelry, home made crafts and lots more. There were all different types of cultures and fashion styles. In one futuristic themed shop that we went into, one of the shop assistants had a really big, blue and green Mohawk. I bought two new dresses from two of the stalls.

In the evening we were supposed to go to the Regency restaurant with Beat Masi Kiran masa and Nana, but we were told by Beat Masi that they only allowed kids on Sunday. So we took the tube to Finchley road where we had dinner at Nandos. We got a jumbo platter, the food was delicious.
